CS-K12r

Double-edged blade with 8mm diameter cylindrical shank providing high rigidity for dense material/ high force cutting applications. Same cut parameters as the Z10 and CS-K12 but with much higher rigidity. The blunter angle reduces the risk for breaking the blade in tough materials, but creates more overcut with thicker materials.

Additional information

CS-K12r is a round stock – 8mm – blade for professional digital cutting environments. It is made for shops running Gerber, Kongsberg and Summa cutting systems, making it a practical replacement choice when you need predictable fit and familiar cutting behavior across established digital cutting workflows.

The blade is designed for knife – static/drag work and supports material thicknesses up to 4.8 mm with a 50 degrees cut angle and a 8o mm blade thickness. The round stock profile gives the blade a familiar handling style for operators who already work with comparable tools.

In day-to-day production, CS-K12r is especially relevant for board – rigid such as EVA – Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, Expanded PVC, Gatorfoam(R), Gatorplast(R) and Komatex(R), board – soft such as Corrugated Plastic, Fome-Cor(R) and Polycarbonate Sheet, composite such as Kapton, Prepreg Carbon Fiber, Prepreg Quartz, Prepreg Unidirectional Carbon Fiber and Toray(R) Prepreg Carbon Fiber, film / vinyl such as 3M(R) Diamond Grade, 3M(R) Vinyl, Avery Dennison(R) Vinyl, Faux Carbon Fiber and General Formulations(R) Vinyl and flexible material such as Carpet, Cork, Ejection Rubber, Gasket Material and Magnetic Foil. These material matches make it useful for operators who need one blade option that can be selected confidently for common production boards, films, textiles, composites, packaging stock or flexible sheet materials shown in the product data.

The listed overcut values include a 0.84 mm start overcut and a 0.84 mm end overcut, which helps operators compare this blade against nearby alternatives when fine tuning corners, lead-ins and small details.
